Axial and centrifugal fans in the Ex-version are not ready-to-use products, but are designed as components of air conditioners, ventilation, and exhaust devices. They may only be put into operation when they are installed for their intended purpose and when their safety is ensured using protective devices following DIN EN 294, DIN EN 60529, and the necessary explosion protection measures following N107-2: 2003.
