3th International Conference on Energy Efficiency in Motor Driven Systems provides a forum to discuss the latest developments in electric motor systems and their energy consumption, energy efficiency policies and programs, and international standards, along with technological and market progress.
Attendees from KONČAR – MES were representatives from the technical department Marko Marić and Bojan Jakovljević, who returned grateful for the opportunity to be there and connect with so many brilliant minds.
Considering the results of the last elections for the EU parliament, the current green transition policy continues. Now the focus is additionally on ensuring the competitiveness of the European Union and creating a sustainable economy, which includes the use of energy from green sources, and the use of recycled materials, ensuring a circular economy instead of a linear one.
The goal is to reduce CO2 emissions by as much as 90% by 2040 and achieve CO2 neutrality by 2050. This is planned to be accomplished by increasing the energy efficiency of almost all products and better control of the implementation of new regulations on the market.
The three-day conference was full of energy and enthusiasm from all the attendees, and the conference was truly inspiring.
