| A wide range of products allows KONČAR – Motors and Electrical Systems (MES) to keep up with global trends in three-phase synchronous reluctance motors with its 7KSRT 80-160 series, class IE4 (premium efficiency) or for efficiency class IE5 (ultra-premium efficiency) according to EN 60034-30-2 standard. Notably, MES was amongthe first companiesto certify high-efficiency motors in flameproof protection. Such motors have recently proven to be a commercially viable and highly efficient alternative to asynchronous motors. The great advantage of these motors is low energy losses and reduced CO2 emissions. The long-term goal is to offer greater reliability and sustainability in use and achieve long-lasting impacts by minimizing faults and downtime. Rapid replacement in application will enable an important upgrade in any industry. In addition to longer life cycle and reduced bearing and winding temperatures, lower carbon footprint should also be emphasized as a long-term and ultimate goal working towards the European Green Deal. |
