KONČAR – MES finalized another project to replace centrifugal fan in industrial plant. It is the largest centrifugal fan of the VARSK 1250ZM type delivered so far with a high-efficiency electric motor IE3 type H7AZ 200L-4. In this case, for the end customer, KONČAR – MES offered and made an appropriate solution with a centrifugal fan connected by belt.

It has been shown that due to the long-term operation of the fan and the influence of reagents from the steam extracted from the steel casting chambers, corrosion of parts of the fan itself occurs.

For the above reasons, the fan housing is made of AISI316 stainless steel, and the fan rotor is made of wear resistant HARDOX sheet metal, which makes a difference from the previous version realized with a steel housing and rotor.

This is also one of the examples of the new business strategy of KONČAR-MES for domestic market in the field of industrial solutions, where we have shown flexibility in the selection and delivery of special versions of centrifugal and axial fans according to special customer requirements.
