The special design of Ex motors due to operating conditions requiring customization of these motors for sun protection and tropical climate. KONČAR-MES offers solutions by making large covers for sun protection. The project is designed for drive pumps that are installed in the oil industry and are engineered to comply with the working conditions. The motor is tailor-made – optimized for efficiency, pump power requirements, and other specific customer requirements – to ensure that the start-up current does not exceed the required value. Accordingly, the motor was type-tested in our prototype test station covering the entire 71-315 motor series. In addition, the engine has a front and rear monitoring sensor, all in trend with Industry 4.0.
